DIU Student Represents Bangladesh at World Construction Symposium in Sri Lanka

Dhaka International University (DIU) has achieved another proud international milestone as it represents Bangladesh at the prestigious World Construction Symposium 2026, which officially commenced on July 10 at Hilton Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Representing both Bangladesh and Dhaka International University, Hasin Esrak is serving as an International Student Rapporteur at the globally recognized symposium. His appointment highlights DIU's growing presence in international academic and research communities.

The opening ceremony began with a symbolic and memorable moment when Hasin Esrak presented the national flag of Bangladesh and the flag of Dhaka International University to the Conference Chairperson, marking the official inauguration of the symposium. The gesture reflected Bangladesh's active participation and DIU's commitment to global academic collaboration.

Throughout the symposium, Hasin Esrak is carrying out his responsibilities under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Anuradha Waidyasekara, contributing to conference coordination, academic discussions, and international engagement with researchers and professionals from around the world.

According to various sources, Hasin Esrak will remain in Sri Lanka for approximately one month as part of his academic engagement and will continue serving in his role as an International Student Rapporteur throughout the program.
