Rice distribution among the poor and underprivileged in Bogura organized by BNP

Rice was distributed among poor, helpless, and underprivileged families in Nandigram Municipality of Bogura. The distribution was carried out under a special initiative of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and with rice allocated by Mosharraf Hossain, Member of Parliament for Bogura-4 and Acting General Secretary of Bogura District BNP.

On Sunday at around 10:00 am the distribution program was inaugurated at the premises of Nandigram Sadar Union Parishad, where rice was distributed among underprivileged families from all nine wards of the municipality.

The program was formally inaugurated by.Md Alekzender, President of Nandigram Municipal BNP. The chief guest was Belayet Hossain Ador, General Secretary of Nandigram Upazila BNP. Also present were Md. Rezaul Karim Kamal, Chairman of Nandigram Sadar Union Parishad; Mohammad Golam Hossain, Organizing Secretary of the Municipal BNP; BNP leader Bachchu Mia; the Upazila Statistics Officer; local leaders of BNP and Jubo Dal; Union Parishad members; and other distinguished persons from the area.

During the distribution program, the speakers said that standing beside the poor and underprivileged is one of BNP's foremost responsibilities in the current situation of the country. They added that, alongside the government, local public representatives and BNP leaders are working tirelessly to bring smiles to the faces of ordinary people. They also expressed hope that such humanitarian and welfare activities would continue in the future.

Meanwhile, the poor and underprivileged beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all those concerned for receiving the rice during this difficult period.
