A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Shijiazhuang Medical College, China, and Dhaka International University (DIU), Bangladesh, to strengthen academic cooperation, research collaboration, student exchange, and professional development.
On behalf of Shijiazhuang Medical College, Mr. Wei Haiqing, Vice President, and on behalf of Dhaka International University, Professor Md. Rafiqul Islam, Registrar, signed the MoU at a ceremony attended by senior officials of both institutions.
Professor Dr. Zahidul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU, said, “This MoU marks an important milestone in expanding international academic collaboration. We hope this partnership will create new opportunities for students, faculty members, joint research, training, and knowledge exchange.”
Mr. Wei Haiqing expressed his appreciation for the initiative and said, “We are delighted to establish this partnership with Dhaka International University. We believe this cooperation will promote mutual learning, cultural understanding, and meaningful collaboration in medical education and research.”
Adv. S. K. Patwari, Member, BoT; Professor A. T. M. Mahbubur Rahman Sarker, Treasurer; Professor Mohammad Shah Alam Chowdhury, Director, Student Welfare; and other high officials of DIU were present at the ceremony.
