Ambassador of the Netherlands to Bangladesh Joris van Bommel paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed bilateral defence cooperation and other matters of mutual interest, the Bangladesh Army said in a Facebook post.
The ambassador expressed interest in collaborating with Bangladesh to develop sustainable water management by utilising the Netherlands' experience and expertise in delta management and flood control, it added.
