Professor Dr. Anis Ahmed S.I., Honorable Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, Pakistan, paid a courtesy visit to Dhaka International University (DIU) and was warmly welcomed by Professor Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam, Honorable Vice Chancellor of DIU.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two universities to strengthen academic and research collaboration.
The two Vice Chancellors held fruitful discussions on student and faculty exchange programmes, joint research and publications, curriculum development, seminars and conferences, knowledge sharing, and other collaborative academic initiatives.
Professor Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam expressed his optimism that the partnership would create new opportunities for students, faculty members, and researchers of both institutions and further strengthen DIU’s international academic engagement.
Professor Dr. Anis Ahmed S.I. appreciated the warm hospitality of DIU and expressed his commitment to developing a productive and sustainable partnership through research collaboration, academic exchange, and knowledge sharing.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the Treasurer, Registrar, Director of Student Welfare, Deans of different faculties, senior faculty members and officials of DIU, as well as representatives of COMSTECH.
The partnership marks another significant step toward expanding international academic cooperation, research excellence, and global engagement at Dhaka International University.
