A scholarship award ceremony for the 'Merit Test-2025' was held in Noakhali under the initiative of Swapna Dekhi Foundation.
On Thursday, April 23, the program organized at the Mejban Community Center in Sonaimuri Upazila of the district was attended by Noakhali Science and Technology university (NSTU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail as the chief guest.
Speaking as the chief guest, NSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail said that the Swapna Dekhi Foundation is working tirelessly to stand by the country's talented and helpless students. Such initiatives create a competitive spirit among students and encourage them to pursue higher education.
He also said that education is the main tool for the development of a nation. If talented students are given proper patronage, they will lead the country one day. He told the students that they should make themselves worthy through hard work, honesty and perseverance. The Vice-Chancellor also urged the wealthy and conscious people of the society to come forward for such humanitarian initiatives.
The program was presided over by the President of the Foundation, Advocate Shah Alam Siraji. The program was moderated by the General Secretary of Swapno Dekhi Foundation, Mr. MA Motaleb. Among others, the Chairman of the Foundation's Examination Management Council, Mohammad Al Hossain Partha, the Executive Chairman of the Examination Management Council, Md. Shahidul Islam, the Controller of Examinations, Imam Hossain, and officials of Swapno Dekhi Foundation, along with guests, were present.
