Fourteen mobile phones that were reported lost in various incidents across Chapainawabganj have been recovered and returned to their rightful owners. The handover ceremony took place on Monday at 11am at the office of the Superintendent of Police.
Superintendent of Police Gautam Kumar Biswas personally handed over the recovered phones. Several other police officials were present during the event.
Additional Superintendent of Police ANM Wasim Firoz stated that the owners had filed General Diaries (GD) at five police stations in the district after losing their phones at different times. The phones were later traced and recovered through online monitoring by the responsible officers at the respective police stations.
Out of the 14 recovered phones, nine were recovered by Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Abdul Motaleb of Sadar Police Station. ASI Md. Farhad Hossain of Nachole Police Station recovered three phones, while Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamrul Hasan of the Detective Branch recovered the remaining two.
The recovered phones were returned to the owners, ensuring relief and satisfaction for those affected.
